Our beautiful house is nestled in the large trees located on Lake Ida in Alexandria, MN. We offer a larger 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house that sleeps 12. Lake Ida is one of the clearest in all of Minnesota. Rumor has it: you can see over 10 feet down. Come and enjoy this amazing house and bring your own boat and plan on some outstanding fishing! Or bring your favorite fishing pole and lures and plan to fish right off our large dock with bench seating. The town is close by, don’t miss out!

The property is limited to six individuals; however children five years of age and younger do not count towards the limitation. Both the cabin and bunk house have ceiling fans and air conditioning. The cabin is located very close to the water on a level lot. Elevation to the water is about 6 feet. The property is located about 15 miles North of Alexandria with the town of Miltona very close by. The beautiful year round lake home has been recently remodeled both inside and out. The property is on an excellent location on Lake Ida with a nice dock and a clean sandy bottom. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a spacious living room upstairs. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the new porch or paver patio by the lake. If you have a large family there are two additional sleeper sofas and a futon which will allow for up to 12 people. Water toys including tubes,skis and kayak are included. Boat lift available for rent Pontoon or fishing boat available for rent. We have neighbors and very nice stuff so this is not a party house. If you are bringing a boat the limit is 1 boat due to dock space. If you need to bring a second boat it can be arranged but you will need to rent the lift and I will put my boat in the garage. It is very easy to get in and out of town, and is within walking distance to the local convenience store. It is also only about 10 minutes from Carlos Creek winery, a great place to have some food and enjoy a wine tasting! We hope you have a blast, get a chance to enjoy the lake and views from the deck, and can't wait to return! We do ask that you do a cursory cleaning prior to leaving. (The cleaning fee covers a cleaning crew for 4 hours, time required beyond that will be deducted from the damage deposit $25 per hour required). Also, we have a strict no-smoking policy. If this policy is violated, we will keep the entire damage deposit to pay for the cleaning required to rid the house of the odor. Pets are negotiable and a $100 pet fee is required. We appreciate no smoking inside the cabin or in the bunk house. We have a very limited supply of life jackets so you may want to consider bringing your own. The cabin sits on level lake shore to Lake Irene. There are 2 Queen beds in the cabin and a full size and twin bed in the bunk house. The cabin has a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric fireplace, and shower. There is a gas grill that can be used outside. The cabin has a living room, dining room with table and chairs, bar seating in the kitchen, living room with plenty of seating, TV with dish and DVD player. There is a deck that overlooks the lake. A fire pit for evening fires with firewood included. A dock that you can sit out on and fish from. The lake is a great fishing lake (it is MN state law that you must have a fishing licence). There is a very nice swimming area. The cabin comes with two kayak's, one canoe, paddle board, several water floats, a swim raft, and plenty of lawn chairs for our guests to use. We have Corn Hole boards for use. We provide sheets, blankets, bath towels, and beach towels. There is a winery within walking distance. There is also another winery/brewery that is within 10 miles of the cabin. There is a restaurant that is within walking distance of the cabin. Gas station that is very close (walking distance)for food, snacks, fishing licence, ice, gas, bait, pizza, coffee, and ice cream. Alexandria is 10 miles south and offers many attractions such as shopping, restaurants/bars, antique shops, bowling, mini golf, and go-carts.

The property has a fire ring for campfires and a great screened in porch to escape rain or mosquitoes but still be outside. The home has two levels with a loft. There are bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2 main floors with sleeping quarters in the loft also. There are 2 bedrooms that are actual suites with refrigerators, sinks and fireplaces. We have caught many bass right off the dock including the one in the picture! I am happy to announce that the Governor of Minnesota has allowed us as owners in Minnesota to be able to rent out our cabins this summer. Due to Covid 19 we will be following all rules and guidelines provided to us from the the CDC. We will be cleaning everything with soap and water and disinfectants provided by the CDS requirements. You will fall in love with this quaint home on the North end of Lake Darling. The home features an open kitchen/dining room layout, with a beautiful view of the lake and a patio door to the deck. The living room has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and also has a patio door to the 2 level deck where you can enjoy the view and soak up some sun. For those cool, rainy evenings, the living room also has a gas fireplace. Bring your boat and tie off to the dock for some great fishing or recreational boating on the famous Chain of Lakes. The home is located just minutes from dining, shopping, and beautiful downtown Alexandria. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. The home also has a beautiful bathroom with tiled floors and shower surround. The home will only sleep 4 adults in beds, so an air mattress may be necessary if you have 5 or 6 guests. There is no smoking allowed on the property and pets are not allowed.
